Letter carving in stone.  Letter carving goes back thousands of years, the picture on the left is an example of the Roman letters carved in the base of the Trajans column, This inscription has served as the model Roman alphabet for almost two millennia. I am trying to keep this ancient art alive in this ever changing modern world we live in. I hand carve Tombstones, grave markers, Memorial plaques, Pet memorial, House and Farm signs, I also do birth and wedding stones. I work with natural stones and every plaque or sign is individually carved to the clients requirements, I do not sand blast our plaques, all my work is hand carved with hammer and chisel and can take time and can not be rushed, so please take this in consideration when ordering, I carry stone in stock for smaller items, for larger pieces this would have to be ordered.
